  • Jan 19, 2025 Sealodge J8 was an amazing updated condo with amazing views of the ocean. All the rooms had views and sleeping and waking up to the sound of the waves was so peaceful. Well worth the cost. The beach chairs, umbrella, and other beach amenities were very handy when visiting several beaches. Great proximity to Hanalei shops, restaurants and beaches, as well as other Princeville restaurants. Although it was a 1.5 hour drive to the south side of the island, Waimea Canyon, and NaPali Experience catamaran morning magic boat tours, it ended up being a great way to see the entire island of Kauai. I highly recommend at least 3-nights/4-days. The condo was very clean and the host was very friendly and responsive when we had questions and communicating details related to our trip. We would definitely stay at this specific Sealodge J8 condo again. Mona Cotton

  • Mar 11, 2024 This is a lovely place overlooking the pristine Princeville beach. Super clean and well maintained. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked for preparation of simple every day meals. There is a short downhill hike then scramble over some rocks to get to a small very quiet and beautiful sandy beach. Before leaving my kids made me swear that we could come back. Dina Rahhal

Watch the stars on the lodge lawn at night and wake up to whale watching from your bedroom window! Hike down to the private beach and take a short car trip to Hanalei for a meal and shave ice.   • Mar 24, 2023 First impressions are everything. You open the door and the layout of the condo maximizes the panoramic ocean view from every room. At the golden hour, when the ocean glistens and the shore break illuminates, whales play and breach offshore. Storm clouds roll in with spectacular lightning. This condo is updated in all the best ways. Bed is firmly comfortable and adjustable. (Note, pillows were on the overstuffed side.) Best of all, the sheets, pillowcases, and towels are new and crisp, and the quilted-cotton bed-cover was just the right weight if it got cool. (Ask the delightful property manager Sophia for the "shower trick.") The appliances are all brand-new. The kitchen is compact but there's a big fridge and a good electric stovetop. The washer-dryer is so quiet you’d hardly know it’s running. The condo was spotless upon our arrival, and decorated with a beach-chic aesthetic. Communication with property management company was fantastic leading up to and during our stay. Parking is easy. There’s a private beach that requires some hiking skills but is worth it. The complex’s swimming pool was under repair; you might want to check, if that’s an important amenity. The unit does not have air conditioning. When we were becalmed by a break in the trade winds, Sophia was awesome in delivering a second oscillating fan to keep things sufficiently cool. Well-fit screens keep the muzzies out. Every room had an ocean view and you could hear the endless ocean waves from the balcony and rooms with the windows open. It was close to shops and restaurants. There is a great private beach with snorkeling access if your up for a little hike but wear good shoes it can get a little slippery if it rains. The place was modernly updated and had a fully stocked kitchen with great amenities. One of the best sunrises we had on the island was here at Sealodge. Ashley Names

Welcome to Sealodge J8 by Gather. This cozy oceanfront abode is perched atop the cliffs overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. With stunning panoramic ocean views, this is the perfect home for a relaxing getaway. Watch the colors of the sunrise dance off the ocean from your private patio and even be able to watch the whales swim by in whale season (Dec-March).

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath sleeps 4 and is newly remodeled with luxury vinyl plank flooring, fixtures, furniture, and appliances to name a few. It's equipped with a full kitchen with white cabinetry and granite countertops. A washer and dryer are located in the home as well for your convenience.

The living room is light and bright with stunning views of the ocean below and is equipped with a large flat-screen smart TV as well as a daybed with an XL twin. The primary bedroom has a King bed and en-suite bathroom, and the loft upstairs has two twin beds and an en-suite. Both rooms have spectacular ocean views.

Sealodge is located in the private gated community of Princeville on the beautiful North shore of Kauai with a 2-mile walk/jog path weaving throughout the gated community this is a great way to exercise or just enjoy being in nature while on vacation. Sealodge is perched on the bluff at the end of a quiet with the ocean on one side and the jungle on the other. One of the many attractions of Sealodge is the walking path down to the beautiful beach below.

Only a short 5-minute drive to Hanalei Bay you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and waterfalls while enjoying fun for the whole family on one of the most famous beaches in the world. Enjoy shopping and dining conveniently located in Princeville or Hanalei and book yourself on one of the many activities to choose from while on the island.
